Shatta Wale Has Never Been My Friend - Yaa Pono reveals

Rapper Solomon Adu Antwi known for his musicianship as Yaa Pono has revealed that fellow musician Shatta Wale has never been his friend.

Yaa Pono and Shatta Wale for about a couple of years has had their issues and throwing jabs to each other.

In 2018 both artiste released diss songs to each other and the most popular was rapper Yaa Pono's "Gbenabu" which most social media commentators claimed it as the winning song.

Speaking to Mercury Quaye on Accra based radio station Hitz FM, when asked if he has smoked peace pipe with the dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, he said;
" Shatta Wale has never been my friend, so there is nothing to go back to. I don't have any issue with him because he is not my friend. If you look at way back, I have never featured him on any of my songs not because I hate him but because there is no connection between us" he revealed.

" I will be on his show because that's business and strictly business" he said when asked if he will be on a Shatta Wale's show if invited.

The "Amen" hitmaker also disclosed that they can be friends in Christ.

Shatta Wale has had issues with Samini, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and Kwaw kesse. He has smoked the peace pipe with Samini, Stonebwoy and for Kwaw kesse to be on the reign concert means they also have smoke the peace pipe.

We await the peace pipe between reggae dancehall artiste Shatta Wale and fellow musicians Sarkodie and Yaa Pono for the sake of the music industry.
