Ghana's finest rapper Micheal Owusu Addo with the stage name Sarkodie has encourage up and coming rappers (Underground) to keep writing and rapping in their own local dialet.
Sarkodie who is known to rap in a Ghanaian local dialet (Twi) is currently the Best International Flow Act, kind courtesy Black Entertainment (BET) Awards.
Speaking to the BET red carpet host, Hemah K, in an interview Sarkodie talked about the things that pose as limitations to both up and coming artists and well established artists. He mentioned language as a very critical factor.
He encouraged up and coming artists to stick to their local dialect and they will become successful just like him someday.
